weberfloor PUC HD
Product formerly named: weberfloor PUR HD30 kg / set
The weberfloor PUC HD is a thermal shock-resistant, heavy-duty, polyurethane mortar screed for various applications (4 – 12 mm). This product is specially formulated as a heavy-duty and high-mechanical floor coat with anti-slip, heat and cool resistance. It can form a matte finish with seamless surface.
All surfaces must be clean, structurally sound, dry and free from any laitance, oil, grease, and contaminants. The substrate shall be in good condition, and cleaned of contaminants by grit or shot blasting, high-pressure water jetting, or grinding. Remove any remnants of concrete curing agents, admixtures, surface hardeners, etc. which may hinder adhesion.
The surface should be compacted and smooth with a power float machine. It should have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm2 and a minimum tensile strength of 1.5 N/mm2. New concrete or screed must be left for a minimum of 7 days before application. Power-floated subfloors should be mechanically prepared before application to achieve good adhesion. If the moisture content of the substrate is > 4% or negative ground water pressure, apply suitable moisture barriers.
Avoid spanning any joints or cracks in the floor susceptible to movement, such as construction joints. In cases where non-moving cracks are present in the screed/concrete substrates, it is advisable to thoroughly fill or repair them with a suitable resin system before application. Prepare grooves at all edges, bay joints columns, doorways, and drains for anchoring purposes.
